The New Renault Megane RS Gets A Price Cut

Renault have announced that they will be cutting the price of their Renaultsport Megane. This makes sense when you consider that the model is nearly six years old.

There have been a few tweaks to this years version, with no satnav and parking sensors in this model, instead the focus is on Brembo brakes, firm sports suspension and better rear seats, all under the £25,000 mark.

Sharing a 271bhp 2-litre turb engine with the Trophy-R, the Megane 275 Cup-S can get to 0-62mph within 6 seconds, with a top speed of 158mph.

The question is, even with the price cut, will it be enough to tempt drivers from purchasing the faster VW Golfs and Seat Leons? Time will tell.
