Supercar maker McLaren have revealed a new vehicle in their collection, this one being their cheapest supercar yet.

Named the McLaren 540C, the vehicle is currently on show at Shanghai’s Motor Show. Classed as the entry-level model in McLaren’s collection, the car comes packed with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which packs out 398lb of torque and 533bhp. All of this means that the car can do 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds, 0.3 seconds slower than the 570S models, not that anyone would actually notice the difference!

So how much will it cost you to purchase this ‘cheap supercar’? Only £126,000! Making it around £17,000 cheaper than the McLaren 570S. Bargain, we know!
